Back at the Puzzle Mansion For More Pieces!

Gina Licuna's son Gino with the first puzzle she finished (5000 pcs.)
I felt excited when I heard I would be coming back to the Puzzle Mansion in Tagaytay City. It is the home of the Guinness World Record for the Largest Collection of Puzzles last counted at 1028 pieces by Gina Gil-Lacuna. But it was just not the puzzle that made it a hit but they also made it a place where you will be immersed with the fun and facts of puzzles.

The puzzle mansion was originally a rest house of the family but when the puzzle collection grew in numbers, there was a need to store them at a bigger place. Gina also placed her bid for the world record which will steal the last record held by a Brazilian woman with less than 300 puzzles. And with the numbers they have, the record was awarded to her in 2012.

The Puzzle Mansion has also become a place not only to appreciate the different kinds of puzzles but also start the love of building one too. They have a store which features merchandise and puzzles of different shapes and sizes. From easy children's puzzles to challenging puzzles with at least a thousand pieces.

The last time I went here was when she was finishing the largest puzzle in the world which has  32000 pieces, yes that is thirty two thousand pieces just to make it clear. Thus bringing another potential record to her title as the fastest single person to complete the biggest puzzle in the world, as well as other records such as most number of pieces assembled by a single person and another record for the largest puzzle collection with the numbers raised up to 1500+ puzzles.

They also offer bed and breakfast for visitors who want to send a night at the mansion with their suites that have that homey feel. You can also take a dip with their swimming pool and have events at their garden. Their souvenir shop is also selling Buntis apparel which is the family business that they grew from humble beginings. You can also have your pictures turned into puzzles as well as taste their famous Coconut Cream Pie, which can only be found there.

Tourists at Tagaytay city are discovering the Puzzle Mansion from the features it got from blogs, TV, and newspaper articles which has also reached many foreign tourists who would also visit it when they pass by the city.
But they are not stopping there, they plan on expanding new features of the property by having a zip line, expanded gallery, more rooms for guests and also expanding their menu for their restaurant. They should probably consider having a coffee table book to document the patient efforts of Gina who made this truly a one of a kind hobby.
